Whanganui River Canoes Ohinepane 4 Day Freedom Hire Trip
For experienced paddlers, the four day trip from Ohinepane is straight into rapids. For this trip each member of your group must be really experienced, and ready to paddle.
Meet our team at the Raetihi Holiday Park the afternoon before your trip for your safety briefing, and to pack your gear. We will transport you to Ohinepane where withing a few metres of the entry point you will be paddling through your first rapids.
Day one of this trip is mainly through farmland, is quite rocky and bumpy, so all paddlers must be able to tell us their paddling experience before booking this trip with us. The final three days of the trip are through the Whanganui National Park, where you will experience the beautiful native bush, gorges and waterfalls that make the Whanganui River Famous.
