We offer one to five day fully guided and catered canoe tours along the Rangitikei River which carves its way through the steep deep gorges of the Kaimanawa and Ruahine ranges on its journey to the Tasman Sea. Canoe and kayak rental also available.
If you want a river with plenty of small rapids, steep gorges, clear water, quiet campsites and plenty of fun then this is the trip. Clients rate the Rangitikei River over most others. The Rangitikei River carves its way through the steep deep papa gorges of the Kaimanawa and Ruahine Ranges on its journey to the Tasman Sea. The rapids are grade one and two, and the scenery spectacular. We have 1 to 4 day trips. Our 4 day trips start at the end of the white water rafting section at River Valley. Other trips start progressively further down the river, and each section has its own stunning scenery and fun-filled rapids. Come join us for a river adventure to remember.
