Take a hike through a privately protected native rainforest sanctuary, a haven for Kiwi and an array of other wildlife. Take a moment to immerse yourself in the symphony of native bird calls and savor panoramic vistas of the surrounding mountains and landscapes.
These trails were meticulously carved out of the wilderness by three dedicated and passionate women, not letting age deter their enthusiasm for preserving and sharing our precious land with the public.
A contribution of $5 as a koha is kindly requested to support conservation efforts, and maintain and ensure the safety of these trails (Cash or bank deposit accepted). Trail maps and informative guides are available at the gate box.
