Celebrate Easter weekend in style at the Ohakune Beer Festival 2026, hosted at Kings Ohakune in the heart of the Ruapehu region. This annual event brings together some of Aotearoa’s best small independent breweries for a full day of flavour, music, and good times.

What to Expect

  Sample unique brews from Roots Brewing, Ruapehu Brewing Co, LADS Brewing Co, The Beer Engine, and more to be announced.
• Festival Glass + Tokens Included
  Every ticket comes with a festival beer glass and 8 tokens to kickstart your tasting journey.
• 1 token = 125ml taster
• 2 tokens = 250ml pour
  Additional tokens available at the venue for $3.50 each.
• Food & Non‑Beer Options
  Enjoy CapTIM’s slow‑cooked BBQ plus festival food available onsite.
  Non‑beer alternatives are also on offer.
• Live Music All Day
  Local musicians take the stage from 2pm until late, keeping the festival atmosphere buzzing.

Family-Friendly Hours

Bring the kids along from 2pm–5pm — children enter free and must be supervised at all times.
After 5pm, the event becomes R18.
